The main purpose of the textbook is to provide basic practical knowledge of the Spanish language within the stated subject matter. It has been designed so that it can be used effectively both in the classroom or as self-study material by University students or learners of Spanish attending Language schools. The textbook consists of six thematic units covering most of the everyday speech topics and some professional vocabulary. Each lesson contains a set of phonetic, lexical, grammar and speech exercises that ensure the successful learning of the vocabulary and grammar of the lesson and their consolidation. In addition, students are referred to verb charts, verb prepositions, and vocabulary lesson-by-lesson review at the back of the textbook.
The textbook is designed for English-speaking learners of the Spanish Language from Beginner or Elementary Levels (A1-A2) benchmarked against the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning.
